The dish racks may also be overloaded, filters in the base of the washing compartment are dirty or incorrectly positioned, too little or no detergent was used, or there are limescale deposits indicating the special salt container is empty or the water softener is incorrectly adjusted.

Select the appropriate wash programme, ensure dishes are arranged properly and not overloaded, clean or correctly position the filters, use adequate detergent, and check the special salt container and water softener settings.

The dishwasher does not start.

The dishwasher door has not been closed properly, the mains plug is not plugged in, the house fuse is faulty, or for models with a delay start timer, the delay start has been selected.

Ensure the door is shut properly, insert the mains plug, replace the house fuse, or check the delay start timer settings.

There are streaks, milky spots or a bluish coating on glasses and dishes.

The rinse aid dosing might be too high.

Decrease the rinse aid dosing.

The sink outlet is blocked.

The water drain hose is not correctly laid.

Clean the sink outlet and check the hose installation.
