Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning
Ensure all filters in the base of the washing compartment are clean and correctly positioned to allow water flow. Clean the filters regularly to prevent blockages and maintain efficiency.
Water Softener Adjustment
Adjust the water softener to prevent limescale build-up on dishes. This can be done manually using the water hardness switch or electronically via the control panel. Use special salt designed for dishwashers to aid the softening process.
Use of Detergents
Only use recommended dishwasher detergents. Avoid overfilling with detergent, special salt, or rinse aid, as excess can lead to poor washing results and potential damage.
Loading the Dishwasher
Load dishes and cutlery in a manner that does not obstruct the rotation of the spray arms. Overloading or improper arrangement can prevent water from reaching all surfaces.
Leak Prevention
The AQUA CONTROL SYSTEM is in place to prevent water leaks. Ensure the appliance remains connected to the mains to keep this system active even when not in use.
